Dog grass root is taken by mouth for constipation, cough, bladder swelling (inflammation), fever, high blood pressure, or kidney stones. It is also used for water retention. Dog grassroots or leaves are applied to treat fevers.

Place the names on two separate candles for a breakup spell, and then top one with witch grass (also known as dog grass) and the other with catnip.
